The Romaubach (Czech Romavský potok ) is a left tributary of the Braunaubach in Lower Austria and the Czech Republic . It drains over the Lainsitz into the Moldau and thus into the North Sea .

The brook has its source northwest of Návary ( Auern ) in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands , flows generally in a south-south-west direction through the Kačer ( Walden ) pond , forms the border with Lower Austria for around one kilometer in the Romava ( Romau ) desert , occurs at Neumühle in Reinberg-Dobersberg to Lower Austria, continues over Eggern and Heidenreichstein , where it flows through several ponds, and finally flows into the Braunaubach after a run of 26 km in Aalfang . The Romaubach has no major tributaries.
