The Braunaubach (also Braunau , Czech Skřemelice ) is a right tributary of the Lainsitz in Lower Austria and the Czech Republic . The Braunaubach drains into the Moldau and thus into the North Sea .
course
The Skřemelice has its source in Mýtinky ( Braunschlag ) in the Česká Canada Nature Park in the Czech Republic. It has a length of 42 kilometers. At its headwaters leading to the south, it is dammed in the Lesní rybník ( forest pond ) and other small ponds. After about three kilometers the stream reaches the Austrian border and flows for a length of about two kilometers at Hirschenschlag at the western foot of the Starohuťský vrch ( Gaisberg , 704 m) as a border stream.
The further course leads through Reingers , Leopoldsdorf, Groß-Radischen and Eisgarn . The Braunaubach then takes a south-south-westerly direction and flows over Eberweis , Altmanns , Amaliendorf-Aalfang , Langegg, Kollersdorf, Schrems , Niederschrems and Hoheneich to Gmünd , where it flows into the Lainsitz just after the Malerwinkel .
