The Rombach is a good two and a half kilometers long right and northwest tributary of the Reichenbach in the Hessian Main-Kinzig district .

The Rombach rises in the southern Vogelsberg at an altitude of about 380 m above sea level. NHN in a meadow at the western foot of the Altenberg ( 386.9 m above sea level ) between Birstein - Fischborn in the west and Birstein- Oberreichenbach in the east. It first flows south through grassland, then feeds the small Rombachweiher , then runs along the south-western edge of the Birstein district of Unterreichenbach and finally flows south of Birstein- Unterreichenbach at an altitude of about 294 m above sea level. NHN in the Reichenbach .
