Ron Palillo (born April 2, 1949 in New Haven , Connecticut , † August 14, 2012 in Palm Beach Gardens , Florida ) was an American actor and teacher .

Life

Palilllo graduated from the University of Connecticut . As a film actor, Palillo worked in the United States in various roles in films and television series and as a stage actor in plays on Broadway . In particular, he was best known in the United States for his role as Arnold Horshack in the US television series Welcome Back, Kotter . In Florida he taught drama as a teacher. He lived in Palm Beach Gardens , Florida with his partner Joseph Gramm for 41 years .
