Ronny Rockstroh (* 13. November 1973 in Leipzig ) is a German House - DJ and music producer .
Career
From 1994 Ronny Rockstroh became known to a wider audience as a DJ in Leipzig. His first project names were Klubstars and X-tasy , under which he also released his first singles in the late 1990s. After a phase in the early 2000s in which he concentrated on his studies, he had his first successes in 2007 under the name Groovestylerz . With his remix of We Are Family by Sister Sledge , he had an international club hit that made it to number 3 in the singles charts in Finland. Other hits such as To the Moon with Stefano Prada and Where Is the Love made their way into the dance charts.
As a remixer he worked for international artists such as Daft Punk , Tocadisco , the Global Deejays and Ich + Ich . His studio colleague Sebastian Köppen aka E-Moog supported him with various music creations. In 2009 he succeeded with the single Licht , which he released under the name Rockstroh, a number two hit in the German dance charts and the jump into the German single charts . In 2010 he made a second entry into the German charts with dancing . The singer was Jasmin Graf from Leipzig . In 2011 he released the single cloud 7 , which reached the top 10 of the dance charts.
In 2012 Rockstroh won the German DJ Award 2012 . in the Best DJ category . In the same year the album Herzpirat was released , which placed in the iTunes charts. 2013, the single was released free to be , which reached a top 5 position in the dance charts. With fly Rockstroh 2013 published another single, reached that position 1 in the dance charts. Light 2k14 and Ocean followed in 2014 . In 2017, the joint single by Rockstroh and Kerstin Ott (on the album Kerstin Ott - Herzbewohner ) won the Gold Award.
