The Rosabach is a 13 km long orographically left tributary of the Werra in the west of Thuringia , district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen . It rises north of Roßdorf in a pond in the east of the Salzunger Werrabergland , at the western interface to the Vorderrhön . In its eastward course along the state road 1026, it passes the place named after it Rosa until it finally flows into the Werra in Wernshausen .

The Rosabach is 15.6 km long over its right, 4.4 km long source river Kohlbach .
