Rosenthalseifen is a village on the way from Lieberhausen to Niederrengse . The place is about 8.4 kilometers east of Bergneustadt as the crow flies. Neighboring towns are Rosenthal , Niederrengse and the town of Bruch, which belongs to the town of Gummersbach .

After the regional reform in 1969 , the place became part of Bergneustadt, it used to belong to the Lieberhausen community.
