Rubió is a municipality in the Catalan comarca of Anoia in the province of Barcelona . It has 239 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) and is located in the west of the comarca on the border with Bages at an altitude of 636 meters. The river Anoia, which gives the comarca its name, has its source in the municipality. A municipal road connects the village with the N-II expressway from Barcelona to Lleida .

The parish is the birthplace of the writer Josep Ferrer Bujons .
