The Rudnjanski rajon ( Russian Руднянский район ) is the furthest western Rajon in the Smolensk Oblast in Russia .

24,551 inhabitants (2010) live in an area of ​​2111 km². The administrative center of the Rajon is the small town of Rudnja with about 10,000 inhabitants (2010).
