Rudolph A. Akanlu
Rudolph A. Akanlu (born September 22, 1922 in Kolo ; † July 7, 2001 ) was Bishop of Navrongo-Bolgatanga .
Life
Rudolph A. Akanlu was ordained a priest on May 27, 1950 .
Paul VI appointed him on November 16, 1972 Coadjutor Bishop of Navrongo and Titular Bishop of Fallaba . The Archbishop of Cape Coast , John Kodwo Amissah , ordained him bishop on March 31 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Peter Poreku Dery , Bishop of Wa , and Peter Kwasi Sarpong , Bishop of Kumasi .
After Gérard Bertrands MAfr resigned on April 13, 1973, he succeeded him as Bishop of Navrongo. On March 14, 1994, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
