The single mother Shari is only excited about the idea of ​​a blind date with Ethan. At first, he seems just as charming and attractive as his photo promised. But Ethan cannot hide his true nature for long. After he becomes violent towards her, Shari escapes and roams the streets of Los Angeles on foot to somehow get home. But she realizes that Ethan is much better connected and even more violent than she thought.

The film was first shown on January 27, 2020 at the Sundance Film Festival . In March 2020 it should be shown at the South by Southwest Film Festival . In May 2020 it was announced that Amazon Studios had secured the rights to the film.
