geography

The Rusava rises east of Rusava on the northeast slope of the Pardus ( 672  m ) at the settlement U Šimečků in the Hostýnské vrchy . On their way to the west are Rusava, Hranečník with the remains of the Křídlo, Brusné , Chomýž and Jankovice castles . On the further course leading to the southwest, the Rusava flows into the Moravian plain and from Jankovice the railway line Valašské Meziříčí - Hulín followed the river. This is followed by Dobrotice, Holešov , Všetuly, Količín, Třebětice , Pravčice , Petrův Mlýn and Hulín . The lower Rusava flows past Chrášťany, Záhlinice and Doubravice to the south through the Záhlinice pond area, which is protected as the Záhlinické rybníky nature park.

To the northeast of Tlumačov , the Rusava flows into the March after 30 kilometers at the Světlá Hunter's House. Its catchment area is 148.4 km².
