Ruslan Tkalenko ( Ukrainian Руслан Ткаленко ; born November 13, 1992 ) is a Ukrainian biathlete .

Ruslan Tkalenko contested his first international races at the 2012 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti, Finland . A year later, in January 2013, he made his debut in the IBU Cup in Otepää , where he was able to collect points in the first race. Shortly afterwards, he took part in the 2013 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Obertilliach , but remained without a medal in all races. A short time later he missed the medal ranks in the individual races at the Biathlon European Championships 2013 in Bansko , but won the bronze medal in the mixed relay together with Julija Schurawok , Alla Hilenko and Artem Tyschtschenko .

In the 2013/14 season he contested his first race in the Biathlon World Cup . In Nové Město na Moravě he started for the first time in the men's races of the 2014 European Biathlon Championships . He was 44th of the individual, 56th of the sprint and with Oleksandr Dachno , Dmytro Russinow and Vitaly Kiltschyzkyj fifth in the relay competition.
