The Sägmühle is located in the Upper Palatinate North region in the northeastern part of the Schwandorf district on the communal road from Gleiritsch to Lampenricht am Seeberg. The village of Lampenricht is about a hundred meters away. The Mühlbach flows west of Lampenricht into the Gleiritsch brook, which rises near Zeinried . Immediately after the confluence of the two streams there used to be a sawmill with a "cutting saw". Today there is a house on the so-called Seemühlweiher.

history

The Gleiritsch brook, which rises near Zeinried, fed the so-called Seemühlweiher. The cutting saw and the sawmill were operated with the stored water power. In the Second World War the operation was stopped; The mill and saw fell into disrepair. During the land consolidation in the municipality of Gleiritsch, which began in 1969, the road from Lampenricht to Gleiritsch was rebuilt. The road layout was straightened and moved in the direction of the former mill and sawmill site. Today there is a pumping station of the municipal sewage treatment plant on the site, the rest is covered with trees.

Tax District and Parish Education
