Søren Lilholt (born September 22, 1965 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish cyclist .

He became two-time junior world champion in Wanganui in 1983 , when he won both the road race and - together with Alex Pedersen , Rolf Sørensen and Kim Olsen - the team time trial. He then had some successes as a professional in the 1980s. For example, he secured stage wins at the Tour of Sweden , the Tour of Valencia and the renowned Paris – Nice stage race and won the overall ranking of a Tour of Luxembourg . During his career he competed five times in the Tour de France as well as once each in the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España - each without achieving any top positions. In 1984 he represented his home country at the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles . In the team time trial, however, the Danish team only finished seventh and Lilholt had to give up in the road race.
