Sebastian Lander

Sebastian Lander (born March 11, 1991 in Køge ) is a Danish track and road cyclist.

Sebastian Lander was Danish champion in the junior class points race in 2006 and 2007. In 2008 he won the silver medal in Madison at the European Track Cycling Championships in Pruszków . The next year he became national champion in Madison together with Christian Kreutzfeldt . At the Junior World Championships in Moscow in 2009 , Lander won the bronze medal in the Madison and he became world champion in the points race.

On the road, Sebastian Lander won the gold medal in the road race of the European Youth Olympic Games in 2007. At the ASVÖ youth cycling tour in Austria, he won three stages and was able to win the overall ranking. The next year he won stages at the Giro di Toscana , the Trofeo Karlsberg and the Grand Prix Général Patton, where he was also first in the overall ranking. At the Junior World Championships in Cape Town , he won the bronze medal in the road race. Lander also won the two Italian one-day races Memorial Pietro Merelli and Trofeo Comune di Vertova. In the 2009 season he was successful in stages of the Youth Tour, the Tour de Himmelfahrt and the Tre Ciclistica Bresciana and he won the overall ranking of the Youth Tour and the Bikebuster Junior Cup. Lander has been driving for the Danish Concordia Forsikring-Himmerland team since 2010 .

His brother Alexander Lander is also a cyclist.
