Søren Marinus Jensen

Søren Marinus Jensen (born May 5, 1879 in Skødstrup , Aarhus Kommune , † January 6, 1965 ) was a Danish wrestler .

Jensen won two Olympic gold medals at the Intermediate Games in 1906 and two bronze medals in 1908 and 1912. This makes him the most successful Danish wrestler at the Olympic Games. In addition to the Olympic Games, Jensen also competed in European and World Championship tournaments. He won the world championship title in Berlin in 1905. Jensen became vice European champion in 1907, 1911 and 1912, with the tournaments of 1907 and 1912 being counted as unofficial European championships today.
