Unofficial World Wrestling Championships 1911

The unofficial wrestling world championships in 1911 today were four tournaments in Stuttgart , Berlin , Dresden and Vienna , each of which claimed to be the true world championship. They were held as meetings in wrestling and lifting parallel to world championships in weightlifting . The wrestlers were divided into four weight classes. The wrestling was done in the Greco-Roman style customary at the time . The official wrestling world championships in 1911 had already been held in Helsinki in March 1911 .
