World Wrestling Championships 1911
The World Wrestling Championships 1911 took place from March 25 to 28, 1911 in Helsinki . The wrestlers were divided into five weight classes. The wrestling was done in the Greco-Roman style customary at the time . The first event outside of the German Reich or Austria led to numerous protests, whereupon four more, unofficial world championships were held in 1911 .
