World Wrestling Championships 1967

The wrestling world championships in 1967 took place separately in different locations according to style. The wrestlers were divided into eight weight classes.

The Greco-Roman style competitions took place from September 1st to 3rd, 1967 in Bucharest .

Freestyle

The free style competitions were held from November 12-14, 1967 in New Delhi . The wrestlers from the Soviet Union secured medals in seven of the eight competitions. Only Nasar Albarjan could not place in the medal ranks with a fourth place in the weight class -52 kg.
