World Wrestling Championships 1982

The wrestling world championships in 1982 took place separately in different locations according to style. The wrestlers were divided into ten weight classes.

The Greco-Roman style competitions took place in Katowice from 9 to 12 September 1982 .

Freestyle

The free style competitions were held in Edmonton from August 12-14, 1982 . The Soviet Union was able to celebrate athletes on the podium in all 10 competitions.
