Unofficial World Wrestling Championships 1905
The today unofficial wrestling world championships in 1905 took place from June 11th to 13th, 1905 in Duisburg . The wrestlers were divided into three weight classes. The wrestling was done in the Greco-Roman style customary at the time . The official wrestling world championships in 1905 had already been held in Berlin in April 1905 . In addition to Willi Dießner , the runner-up at the unofficial European wrestling championships in 1905 , Theodor Eckert , another wrestler from the German Empire , and Verner Weckman , a Finnish student from Karlsruhe , won the competitions.
