The SR series 4Е10 is a 3 kV direct current locomotive for freight and passenger traffic . The locomotive was created by converting the series ВЛ10 locomotives that had been removed from operation as a single-section locomotive with an additional driver's cab. The locomotives were nicknamed Kolobok or Kind of 10er in Georgia . 15 locomotives of the series were manufactured in the Tbilisi electric locomotive factory .
history
In 2000, AO Elektrolokbau designed the new 4Е10 locomotive in a relatively short time . The new locomotive is a four-axle freight and passenger locomotive for operation on railway lines with direct current . The four E4s locomotives manufactured by the Tbilisi electric locomotive factory serve as a template for the construction of the locomotives . The 4Е10 locomotives were created by converting parked locomotives of the ВЛ10 series or unfinished locomotives of the same series at the Tbilisi electric locomotive factory as single-section locomotives. The 4Е10 locomotives therefore have the inventory numbers of their donor locomotives from Georgia or Russia . The locomotives have a recuperation brake based on the principle of self-excitation . The maximum drive power of the locomotive is 2,680 kW, the maximum speed 100 km / h. From 2000 onwards, 15 locomotives were produced.
The motors of the series ТЛ-2К ( TL-2K ) with a maximum power of 670 kW were used as the drive motors . As with the donor locomotives, the bogies are mounted with pivot pins. The locomotive is equipped with power and braking resistors. In the event that the limit values for the friction of the electric brake are exceeded, this can be signaled in the driver's cab. Damaged traction motors can be separated from the power lines by means of male connectors .
To ensure the compressed air of the braking system and other pneumatic equipment, the locomotive has a compressor with the designation ПК-3,5 ( PK-3,5 ) with an electric drive motor with the designation ТЛ-121 ( TL-121 ). Electric motors ТЛ-120 ( TL-120 ) are used to cool the traction motors . By separating the power supply for the drive and auxiliary machines, it was possible to improve the protection of the electrical equipment. The protection of the prime mover is provided by fast -switching switches with the designation БВП-5-02 ( BWP-5-02 , nominal current 2,600 A), the protection of the auxiliary machines by fast- switching switches with the designation БВЗ-2 ( BWS-2 , nominal current 300 A) reached. The compressors can operate at low and high speed. The switchover takes place pneumatically. If the traction motors are damaged, the locomotives can be operated with three or two motors. The supply of the chain of the administration and the charging of the accumulator battery is done with modern electronics.
The drive switch of the ВЛ11 M electric locomotive has been used to control the locomotive . The functions of regulating the drive and the recuperation brake are combined on the main handle. The locomotive has the option of electrical heating of the train.
The driver's cab of the electric locomotive is practically no different from that of the ВЛ10 locomotive . The only difference was the equipment with a different type of speedometer .
commitment
Fourteen locomotives in the series work for the Sakartwelos Rkinigsa in Georgia . Only one locomotive was ordered for Russia. The delivery was carried out for OAO Belon by the general agent of the Tbilisi electric locomotive factory on the territory of Russia (seat in Yekaterinburg , SAO Dortexkomplekt ). Although the Tbilisi electric locomotive factory positioned the locomotive as a freight locomotive, the locomotives in Georgia are very often used with passenger trains. The use of the 4Е10 saves heavy locomotives from light trains.
Occasionally the locomotives can be seen on the routes around the Surami Pass of the Transcaucasian Railway . However, the number of wagons attached must not exceed six. If there are more cars, a second 4Е10 or another locomotive is necessary. The majority of the locomotives were assigned to the Tbilisi - P depot, a smaller number to the Chaschuri depot . Three locomotives have a light blue color scheme ( 4Е10.446 , 4Е10.1689 , 4Е10.1768 ), the rest are painted red-brown. The 4Е10 / 1.001 stationed in Russia, however, is painted in two colors; the top half of the box is white, the bottom half green. It also has a locomotive body similar to the ВЛ11М5 locomotive . Assigned to the depot Belovo she is working on branch lines to the pit Kastromowskaja . Currently (2015) the locomotive is on the sidings of the Taiga station .
Countries of operation
The locomotives are used by the following railway companies in the successor states of the former Soviet Union :
