Sabia Boulahrouz

Sabia Boulahrouz (born Sabia Engizek , born March 31, 1978 in Hamburg ) is a Turkish - German former model and dancer . She gained notoriety primarily through reporting in the tabloid media about her as a player alongside Khalid Boulahrouz and Rafael van der Vaart .

Life

Sabia Engizek grew up with two sisters in a Hamburg guest worker family of Turkish origin . She worked as a jeans saleswoman and as a go -go dancer in Hamburg discos. Here she met the discotheque owner Milan Bakrac , from whom she had her first child, a daughter, at the age of 17. After a relationship with the DJ Markus Gardeweg , she married Jens Thele , the founder of Kontor Records . In 2006 she met the Dutch soccer player Khalid Boulahrouz , who was then playing for Hamburger SV . She divorced Thele to marry Boulahrouz in December 2006. She had three children with Boulahrouz (* 2008, * 2010, * 2011). The couple's daughter, who was born three months prematurely in 2008, died one day after giving birth. The marriage ended in divorce in January 2013. From spring 2013 to August 2015 she was in a relationship with Rafael van der Vaart . The circumstances of this connection generated extensive tabloid media coverage.

Sabia Boulahrouz is fluent in German and Dutch.

Career

Known as the player's wife of Khalid Boulahrouz and through her relationship with the Dutch national soccer player Rafael van der Vaart, which was highly perceived by the media, Boulahrouz was added to the file of the Mega Model Agency by Ted Linow in 2015 . She ended the collaboration in 2016 in order to devote more time to her television career.

Also in 2015, she received her first TV engagement on Dutch television as a jury member for the casting show MindMasters LIVE , the Dutch version of The next Uri Geller . This was followed by other appearances and participation in Dutch and German television show formats, including Global Gladiators in summer 2018.

In March 2019, she graced the cover of German Playboy .
