Sabine Eckhard (* 1955 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a director and producer who lives in Berlin .

Career

Sabine Eckhard studied directing at the University of Television and Film in Munich and at the Conservatoire Libre du Cinema Francais, Paris .

For ARD , ZDF and Arte , she worked as an assistant director (including international cinema productions), screenwriter and director until she began directing the soap Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten for RTL in 1993 . She then shot the first episodes of the crime series In the Name of the Law . When the studio for the series "Gute Zeiten - Schlechte Zeiten" was planned in Babelsberg in 1995 , Eckhard became responsible for all series at Grundy Ufa at the same time . There followed many years as a producer a. a. at UFA Fernsehproduktion , Maran Filmproduktion, Polyphon Fernsehproduktion, Wiedemann & Berg Television . She has been working as a lecturer , consultant and director (for TV documentaries) since 2011 .

In 2015/16 she worked for Constantin Entertainment CZ in Prague as a consultant / creative producer. In addition, she supports people in career planning as a freelance systemic coach against the background of her own long-term experience in the media industry.
