Sabine Englert (born November 27, 1981 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German handball player ( goalkeeper ).

She played for TUSPO Obernburg until 1998 and then moved to TGS Walldorf for two years. From 2000 to 2003 the 1.85 m tall goalkeeper was under contract with Bundesliga club TV Mainzlar . She then joined Bayer Leverkusen , where she played until 2007.

From the 2007/08 season she was in goal for the Austrian first division club Hypo Niederösterreich . With the Austrian series champion she reached the EHF Champions League final. After two years at Hypo Niederösterreich, she moved to the top Danish club FC Midtjylland Håndbold , which renamed itself Herning-Ikast Håndbold in 2018. In 2019 she won the Danish Cup with Herning-Ikast.

Sabine Englert took part in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing with the national team, in which Germany came last in the group stage. She was part of the German national team for the 2009 Women's Handball World Championship in China .
