Sabine Heinemann

Sabine Heinemann (* 1971 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German professor of Romance studies who has held a chair for French and Italian linguistics at the University of Graz since the winter semester of 2008 .

Life

Sabine Heinemann first studied biology in Tübingen , and since 1992 Italian philology , German linguistics and communication studies at the University of Munich . After completing a doctoral degree from 1996 to 1999, she received a doctoral scholarship from the Italian government and the DAAD. In 2002 she also spent a research stay at the University of the Italian city of Udine . From 1998 to 2008 she worked at the University of Regensburg as a research assistant to Maria Selig and Ingrid Neumann-Holzschuh . In addition, she was a study advisor for Romance studies students at Regensburg University and the women's representative in her faculty for many years .

Her research focuses on the analysis of morphological irregularities and the coineization and standardization of individual Romance languages.
