Sabine Urig

Sabine Urig (born October 22, 1962 in Saarlouis ) is a German theater and film actress .

life and career

Sabine Urig received her training at the Wiesbaden drama school Genzmer and the drama school Mainz (theater workshop). Her theater work so far has included engagements at the Mainzer Kammerspiele , the Berliner Kabarett Anstalt , the Potsdamer Hans Otto Theater , the Stuttgart Renitenztheater , the Berliner Vaganten stage and the St. Pauli Theater .

In 1994 Urig played the leading female role in Andreas Dresen's film My Unknown Husband , which received the long film award from the Max Ophüls film festival . As Hilde Becker , she appeared in 17 episodes of the Heinz Becker family television series from 1998 to 2004 and in the 1999 feature film Tach, Herr Dokter! - The Heinz Becker film on.
