Saint-Samson is a place and a commune déléguée in the French commune of Pré-en-Pail-Saint-Samson with 428 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Mayenne department in the Pays de la Loire region .
With effect from January 1, 2016, Saint-Samson was merged with Pré-en-Pail to form the Commune nouvelle Pré-en-Pail-Saint-Samson . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality. The municipality of Saint-Samson belonged to the arrondissement of the same name and the canton of Villaines-la-Juhel .
