The Salinas Natural Monument is located in the Nueva Vizcaya Province on the island of Luzon in the Philippines . The reserve was established on April 23, 2000 in an area of 6,675 hectares in the area of the greater Bambang , Kayapa , Aritao communities . The nature reserve is located in the southwest of the Cordillera Central .
The nature reserve serves to protect the numerous cave systems that lie in the area.
