Sallingsund Municipality was a Danish municipality in what was then Viborg Amt in Jutland until December 2006 . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Skive municipality together with the municipalities of Spøttrup and Sundsøre , as well as the “old” municipality of Skive .
Sallingsund municipality was newly formed as part of the administrative reform of 1970 and included the following Sogn :
