Until December 2006, Fjends municipality was a Danish municipality in what was then Viborg Amt in Jutland . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Viborg municipality together with the “old” Viborg municipality , Bjerringbro municipality , Karup municipality , Møldrup municipality , Tjele municipality and the school district Hvam of Aalestrup municipality .
Fjends municipality was created in the course of the Danish administrative reform of 1970 and included the following sogn :
