Previous change of administrative units
The rural communities in this area were divided into two Harden before 1970 : Morsø Sønder Herred and Morsø Nørre Herred ( Danish for: Morsø Nord- and Südharde ). Even before the municipal reform in 1970 , some of these Sogne merged to form larger rural communities.
The following alliances existed within the Nordharde
- Sejerslev Sogn , Ejerslev Sogn and Jørsby Sogn (rural municipality Sejerslev-Ejerslev-Jørsby )
- Flade Sogn and Sønder Dråby Sogn (rural municipality Flade-Sønder Dråby )
- Alsted Sogn and Bjergby Sogn (rural municipality Alsted-Bjergby )
- Galtrup Sogn and Øster Jølby Sogn (rural municipality Galtrup-Øster Jølby )
- Solbjerg Sogn and Sundby Sogn (rural municipality Solbjerg-Sundby )
- Dragstrup Sogn and Skallerup Sogn (rural municipality Dragstrup-Skallerup )
- Tødsø Sogn and Erslev Sogn (rural municipality Todsø-Erslev )
Vejerslev Sogn from the Nordharde merged with Blidstrup Sogn from the Südharde to form the rural community Vejerslev- Bildstrup .
The following associations existed within the Südharde:
- Frøslev Sogn and Mollerup Sogn ( Frøslev-Mollerup rural municipality )
- Karby Sogn , Hvidbjerg Sogn and Redsted Sogn (rural municipality Karby-Hvidbjerg-Redsted )
- Ljørslev Sogn and Ørding Sogn (rural municipality Ljørslev-Ørding )
- Lødderup Sogn and Elsø Sogn (rural municipality Lødderup-Elsø )
- Tæbring Sogn , Ovtrup Sogn and Rakkeby Sogn (rural municipality Tæbring-Ovtrup-Rakkeby )
- Øster Assels Sogn and Vester Assels Sogn (rural municipality Øster Assels-Vester Assels )
Nykøbing Mors Sogn in the Südharde remained untouched until the municipal reform in 1970. In 1970 the two Harden were merged to form Morsø Kommune, which was one of the few to be fully preserved during the next administrative reform in 2007. She moved from the Viborg office to the new region of Nordjylland .
