Tjele Kommune was a Danish municipality in what was then the Viborg Office in Jutland until December 2006 . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Viborg municipality together with the “old” Viborg Municipality , Bjerringbro Municipality , Fjends Municipality , Karup Municipality , Møldrup Municipality and the Hvam School District of Aalestrup Municipality .
Tjele Kommune was created in the course of the Danish administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogn :
