Until December 2006, Hvorslev Kommune was a Danish municipality in what was then Viborg Amt in East Jutland . Since January 2007 it has been part of the newly formed Favrskov municipality together with the former municipalities Hammel , Hadsten and Hinnerup , as well as part of the municipality of Langå .
Hvorslev Kommune was created as part of the Danish administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogn :
- Hvorslev Sogn (rural municipality Hvorslev-Gerning )
- Gerning Sogn (rural community Hvorslev-Gerning)
- Vejerslev Sogn (rural municipality Vejerslev-Aidt-Thorsø )
- Aidt Sogn (rural municipality Vejerslev-Aidt-Thorsø)
- Thorsø Sogn (rural municipality Vejerslev-Aidt-Thorsø)
- Sønder Vinge Sogn (rural municipality Langå-Torup-Sønder Vinge )
- Vellev Sogn (rural municipality Vellev)
- Vester Velling Sogn (rural municipality of Vester Velling-Skjern )
- Ulstrupbro Sogn
