Sam Douglas

Sam Douglas (* 17th June 1957 as Douglas Samuel Waters in Banbury , United Kingdom ) is a British actor , who is also the US citizen has. He is best known for his role as private detective Scott Shelby in the video game Heavy Rain .

Career

Douglas graduated from Simpson College with a BA in Acting and Directing from Oklahoma City University ; there he was employed under the direction of Alan Langdon .

Douglas has played in several theaters in the US and UK including the Royal National Theater , Greenwich Theater , Royal Court Theater and Savoy Theater . He also works as theater director at the Actors Space in New York and leads professional improvisation workshops in London and Oxford, based on the Stanislavski system, also at the Circle in the Square Theater in New York City with the support of Alan Langdon .

Douglas does not have a regular speaker in German. It was dubbed by Roland Hemmo ( Method ), Reinhard Scheunemann ( Snatch ), Holger Schwiers ( Das Parfum ) and Jörg Hengstler ( The Bible ) , among others . In the German version of Heavy Rain , the role of Scott Shelby was dubbed by Richard van Weyden .
