San Fedele Intelvi is a northern Italian town in the Val d'Intelvi in the province of Como in Lombardy .

geography

The village is located about seventeen kilometers north of Como on the Swiss border between Ceresio and Lario . The hamlet is the capital of the Val d'Intelvi. The former municipality comprised the Erbonne and Orimento fractions . In its territory is the summit of Monte Generosos , on the border with the municipality of Rovio .

history

It was a separate community (comune) until the establishment of the Centro Valle Intelvi community on January 1, 2018 .
