San Nicolás de Bari is a city and a municipality in the Cuban province of Mayabeque . Until 2010 the municipality was part of the dissolved province of La Habana .

The municipality is located west of Nueva Paz and east of Güines . The settlement was officially established in 1846. It has 21,563 inhabitants on an area of ​​242 km², which corresponds to a population density of 89.1 inhabitants per square kilometer.

San Nicolás de Bari is divided into eight quarters ( barrio ): Babiney Prieto, Barbudo, Caimito, Gabriel, Jobo, Pipián, Pueblo y Paradero and Zaldívar.
