Sandra Schützová (born October 21, 1991 ) is a Czech cross-country skier .

Career

Schützová, who competes for the CKS SKI Jilemnice, mainly takes part in the Slavic Cup in 2008 . She has won nine so far and took first place in the 2013/14 season and second place in the overall ranking in 2014/15. (Status: March 4, 2017) At the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2009 in Szczyrk , she achieved 33rd place in sprint, 30th place over 5 km classic and 28th place over 7.5 km freestyle. In January 2011 she came in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2011 in Otepää on the 57th place over 5 km freestyle and on the 56th place in the skiathlon . In February 2012, she made her debut in Nové Město in the cross-country skiing world cup and achieved 52nd place in the 15 km mass start race and 12th place with the relay. At the U23 World Championships in Liberec in 2013 , she finished 33rd in the skiathlon, 32nd place over 10 km freestyle and 12th place in the sprint. In her first participation in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Fiemme Valley , she achieved 52nd place in the sprint. Her best placements at the 2013 Winter Universiade in Lago di Tesero were ninth in the sprint and fourth in the relay. At the U23 World Championships in 2014 in Fiemme Valley, he took 18th place in sprint, 15th place over 10 km classic and 14th place in skiathlon. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, she finished 72nd at the Nordic Opening in Lillehammer . Her best placings at the 2015 Winter Universiade in Štrbské Pleso were eighth place in the 15 km mass start race, sixth place in the team sprint and fifth place with the relay. In January 2017 she became the Czech sprint champion. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti she came in 39th place in the sprint and together with Karolína Grohová on 12th place in the team sprint. At the Tour de Ski 2018/19 she finished 28th and thus got her first World Cup points. Her best placements at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol were 40th place in the 30 km mass start race and 11th place in the relay. At the Rollerski World Championships in Madona in 2019 , she won the bronze medal in the 15 km freestyle mass start race.
