The Sane-Vive , alternatively also Sane , (also written Sâne-Vive or Sâne on unofficial maps) is a river in France that runs in the regions of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté . It rises in the municipality of Lescheroux and initially drains in a northerly direction through the Bresse landscape , but then swings to the southwest and flows into the Seille after 47 kilometers in the municipality of La Genête , south of Brienne , as a left tributary . On its way, the Sane-Vive crosses the Ain and Saône-et-Loire departments .
