Sansevieria longiflora is a species of the genus Sansevieria in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). The specific epithet longiflora comes from Latin and means 'long-flowered'.

Sansevieria longiflora grows stemless as a perennial , succulent plant with creeping rhizomes up to 2.5 centimeters thick . The four to six leaves are rosette, spread out and lanceolate. The simple leaf blade is 30 to 150 inches long and 4 to 9 inches wide. It narrows at the base to a stalk up to 7.6 centimeters long and is flat at the top. The leaves are dark green, lighter spotted or irregularly banded. The spade tip is thorn-like, hard, 3 to 6 millimeters long and brown. The edge of the spread is hardened and colored red-brown or yellowish. The leaf surface is smooth.
The loosely racemose or densely capped inflorescences are 33 to 68 centimeters long. The panicles are densely covered with two to three flowers per clump and 7.5 to 38 centimeters long. The bract is lanceolate and pointed and 1.2 to 2.5 inches long. The flower stalk is 1 to 3 millimeters long. The bracts are greenish white. The flower tube is 9 to 10 centimeters long. The white tips are 2.5 to 4 inches long.
distribution
Sansevieria longiflora is common in Angola , Namibia , the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Equatorial Guinea, especially on the island of Bioko .
