Santa Rita is a country town in the Santa Cruz Department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Santa Rita is the second largest town in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) El Torno in the province of Andrés Ibáñez . The city is located at an altitude of 516  m on the right bank of the Río Piraí between the cities of El Torno and La Guardia .

Santa Rita is located in the tropical humid climate on the eastern edge of the Andes mountain range of the Cordillera Oriental . The region was covered by subtropical rainforest before colonization , but is now mostly cultivated land . The region has a semi- humid, humid tropical climate with low day and night fluctuations in temperatures.
