Santa Rita do Passa Quatro , officially Município da Estância Climática de Santa Rita do Passa Quatro , is a small town in the Brazilian state of São Paulo . It is 253 km from the capital . According to the 2010 census, it had a population of 26,478, called Santa-Ritensians, the 2019 estimate gave a population of 27,557. It is part of the Ribeirão Preto metropolitan area (RMRP) and is named by Law No. 719 of July 1, 1950, among twelve places in the state that are particularly distinguished by their climate.
