Santa Rosalía is a municipality ( municipality ) in the Vichada department in Colombia .

Santa Rosalía is located at an altitude of about 320 meters in Vichada in the Colombian Llanos and has an average temperature of 30 ° C. The municipality borders in the north on the Río Meta and Orocué , San Luis de Palenque and Trinidad in the Department of Casanare , in the east on La Primavera , in the south on the Río Tomo and Cumaribo and in the west on Puerto Gaitán in the Department Meta .
