Santiago Rodríguez Rodríguez
Santiago Rodríguez Rodríguez (born May 25, 1968 in Mamey , Puerto Plata Province , Dominican Republic ) is a Dominican clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of San Pedro de Macorís .
Life
Santiago Rodríguez Rodríguez received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Puerto Plata on June 24, 2000 through Bishop Gregorio Nicanor Peña Rodríguez .
On November 3, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of San Pedro de Macorís. The bishop of Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia en Higüey , Gregorio Nicanor Peña Rodríguez, ordained him episcopal on December 30th of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Santo Domingo , Francisco Ozoria Acosta , and the Bishop of Puerto Plata, Julio César Corniel Amaro .
