Saralisa Volm

Saralisa Volm (born June 24, 1985 in Hechingen ) is a German actress , film producer , director , curator and author . She became known for her leading roles in Finale , Dancing with Devils and Hotel Desire .

Life

Saralisa Volm grew up in Freising . She spent part of her school time at the Bad Tölz grammar school and gained her first theater experience in the school theater group.

The then retail saleswoman was discovered for the film in 2006 by the director and screenwriter Klaus Lemke , with whom she shot Finale and later Dancing with Devils . In 2009 Dancing with Devils was awarded the North German Film Prize for Best TV Film. In 2011 she starred in the erotic short film Hotel Desire, financed by donations ( crowdfunding ), alongside Clemens Schick and Herbert Knaup . In the same year, Volm did her Bachelor of Arts in art history and philosophy.

In 2014 she founded the blog glowbus.de together with three other women , which, according to her own account, “... deals with everything that interests women”. In 2016 she left the blog to devote herself to other projects. In her book Mamabeat from the same year, she talks about parenting in a sometimes cheerful tone.

Developing her own projects became more and more important to her and made the founding of her own production company POISON a logical step. In the fall of 2014, the short film The Metamorphosis (D: Igor Plischke ) with Golo Euler in the leading role was created in cooperation with the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and the Bayerischer Rundfunk . With Fikkefuchs (D: Jan Henrik Stahlberg ), Saralisa Volm made her first feature film as a producer in 2015.

In 2016 she played the role of viola in Shakespeare's last round on arte . She also curated her first exhibition Trost and directed a music video for the band Leather Report for the first time . At the beginning of 2017, the ARD showed the episode Murder Commission Istanbul - A Village Under Suspicion with Saralisa Volm in the main role of the episode.

Your concept for the short film "Am Draht der Zeit" was awarded and financed by the FFF Bayern . The film premiered in March 2018.

From March 22 to April 8, 2018, Saralisa Volm curated the group exhibition “bitch MATERial” together with Britta Helbig. In addition, her second book "Puff! Platsch! Peng! With 52 experiments through the year" was published on March 22, 2018. The experiment book was illustrated by Gregor Hinz.

Saralisa Volm lives with her four children and her husband in Berlin.
