The Castle Park Ellingen is the park of ellingen residence in the same city Ellingen in Middle Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The plant, together with the castle under the monument number D-5-77-125-90 as a monument to the Bavarian monument list entered. The approximately three hectare park is maintained by the Bavarian Administration of Palaces, Gardens and Lakes .

The baroque park was created around 1720 during the construction of the new Ellingen Palace. A view of the palace park from a coat of arms calendar from 1726 shows it as the ideal image of a baroque garden . From 1796 until the 19th century, the park was redesigned into an English landscape garden in the style of classicism . Numerous types of trees were planted and a garden pavilion with a baluster parapet was built as a northern boundary. During the Second World War this pavilion was partially destroyed or demolished, today the park architecture is only a balustradeleft free. In addition to the old and species-rich trees, including a 200-year-old ginkgo , the flowering of the bluestars ( Scilla bifolia ) at Easter is remarkable. Various red beech trees are also part of the tree population .

The garden is freely accessible today.
