Shuravka ( Ukrainian and Russian Журавка ) is a village in the southeast of the Ukrainian Oblast Chernihiv with about 3000 inhabitants (2001).
The first written mention of Shuravka comes from the year 1618. Shuravka is the administrative center of the eponymous, 74.41 km² district council in the west of Varwa Rajon , to which the village of Kulyshivka ( Кулишівка , ⊙ ) with about 140 inhabitants belongs.
The village is located on the left bank of the údaj , opposite, in Rajon Pryluky village Polonky , 6 km south of Ladan , 11 km west from Rajonzentrum Varva and 180 km southeast of the Oblastzentrum Chernihiv . Territorial roads T-25–30 and T-25–38 run through the village .
