Protection of parts of the landscape (Landscape Protection Ordinance ) - Kleiner Brombachsee (ID: LSG-00526.01) is a landscape protection area in Bavaria . It extends over an area of ​​362.45  hectares in Pfofeld and Absberg , both communities in the middle of the Franconian Lake District in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

Large parts of the Kleiner Brombach , a receiving water of the Great Brombach, lie within the landscape protection area . The peninsula nature reserve in the Kleiner Brombachsee is located in the area . The Brombachmoor and the Sägmühle nature reserve border the protected area . To the north, the protected landscape area borders on parts of the landscape ( landscape protection ordinance) - the southern slope of Absberg .

The nature reserve is located in the Franconian Keuper-Lias-Land (11) within the natural spatial main unit foreland of the southern Franconian Jura (113).
