The Schwarzenbach is a five kilometer long mountain stream of the Tegernsee Mountains in the municipality of Kreuth in the Upper Bavarian district of Miesbach , running approximately to the southeast , which flows into the Weißach from the left .

course

The Schwarzenbach rises below some scree slopes from the eastern foothills of the Mühlriedeck of the Hochplatte down on the western slope of a high valley shared with the Söllbach flowing to the north at about 1117  m above sea level. NHN . During its initial run through the Schwarzentenn upland moor in this high valley, the mountain streams Hinterer and Vorderer Humpelgraben, which were last united, flow from the right, which also arise more or less near the plateau. In the further course of the Schwarzenbach, in addition to smaller streams, it receives one after the other through the Tiefengraben from the northeast just before the Holzstube, then also from the northeast through a body of water that rises on the Filzenkogel north of the Leonhardstein and another from the west, which near the Sonnbergalm under the Roß- and Buchstein arises and on the middle reaches temporarily runs under its rock fill.

A forest road accompanies the left side of the stream for almost the entire course, while a footpath has been laid out over long distances on the right. Both trails are part of the Schwarzenbachtal soil adventure trail . Shortly before the estuary there is a winter parlor of the Bavarian State Forests with a parking lot on the lower slope . The stream crosses the federal highway 307 last , before it reaches about 826  m above sea level. NHN flows into the Weißach from the left at the Klamm residential area.

Building

The Schwarzenbach is over much of its range installed , especially at the lower stream. Shortly before the B 307, a sediment retention barrier made of reinforced concrete with a height of 5.5 meters and a sedimentation and stilling basin with a volume of approx. 7,000 m³ were installed. In addition, a wild wood rake was installed to hold back all washed up wood and debris and to prevent blockage down the valley.
